Nantou, being the second largest country in the heart of Taiwan, is home to Taiwan’s highest mountain Yushan (Mt. Jade), 41 other mountains and the island most beautiful Sun moon lake (Ri Yue Tan).

With the landscape being 80% greenery and mountainous, naturally Nantou is heavily dependent on agricultural activities.
Visitors can enjoy the activities offered by recreational farms, visit national parks, themed villages or visit historical museums while basking in the glorious scenic mountain views and fresh air. Such tranquility is present only in the less urbanized areas like Nantou.
