The Wanli district in northern Taiwan is not only home to Yehliu Geopark but is also home to many other nature wonders of the similar type, perculiar rocks carved by natural coastal waves and weathering over millions of years, Wanli Fist Stone 萬里拳頭石 is one such glorious masterpiece.
Wanli Fist stone is a piece of standalone stone attraction shaped like a fist pointing towards the sky perched atop a horizontal piece of rock to stabilize. Safely speaking, it can be assumed that these two pieces of rocks is actually a huge piece of boulder many years before and weathered through the storms before becoming the shape that it is today.
The Wanli Fist stone is a gorgeous piece of art that is pretty no matter what time of the day. Sunrise brings the golden sun above the fist like its cradling the sun within its fist against the first ray of light tinting the skies a beautiful orangey red while sunset brings a myraid of colors in hues orange, blue, purple covering the entire sky. For magical ethereal moments, be there before sunrise to witness the fog on waters engulfing the entire fist stone structure creating a seemingly magical moment, be lost in thoughts and spend some time to think about life while busy snapping gorgeous photos.
Wanli stone fist continues to sit there, unfazed by life, come rain or shine, against the azure skies.
