Taipei Water Park is the place to be during the hot summer season. As suggested by its name, the park offers exciting and fun-filled water facilities for visitors of all ages to enjoy. These facilities include water slides, swimming pool, spa pond and other leisure facilities as well. However, the main purpose of the water park is to educate the public about water through interesting activities, to inform people of water resources in Taiwan and about using water wisely.
Another notable educational facility inside the park is the ‘Museum of Drinking Water’ which was first built in 1908 and later on became a third- class historic site. It not only provides information on using water, it showcases water treatment facility, has an outdoor equipment display and a playground. This place is perfect for those who wishes to cool off from Taiwan’s sultry summer weather.
