As its name suggests, the National Taiwan Science Education Centre (NTSEC) is dedicated to the education of science. First established in 1956, it is the only national centre in the country that provides the public a learning adventure of the various sciences through exhibits and interactive multimedia. NTSEC has a permanent exhibition area that offers exhibits of rich contents relating to Life Sciences, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and the Earth Sciences. The centre also collaborates with other domestic and international museums to host up-to-date science exhibitions.
Science is about discovering and experimenting and that is what visitors can do in the science library and fully equipped laboratories. There is also a stimulating 3D Theatre and Virtual Reality Theatre that will keep visitors on the edge of their feet.
