Sanxia Old Street 三峽老街 is one of the longest old streets in northern Taiwan. The gorgeous buildings were built in a baroque style, red bricks and arched sidewalks running down its sides. Although it was built in the earlier period of Taiwan, its architecture was well preserved and intact.

There are various traditional handicraft shops and indigo dyeing stores here. Try your hand at dyeing clothes in one of the workshops and you could create your own aesthetically pleasing scarf.

For foodies out there, there are teahouses, pastry shops, food stores and street food. Have a taste of a bull horn croissant!

It is a well-preserved street surrounded by lively market and rich heritage.
