If vintage cars are your thing, head down to Shilin district, Taipei, Taiwan P.S Bu Bu Restaurant and be ready to meet the love of your life.
It all started out with two vintage car enthusiast Ponny and Sean who kickstarted the journey of this vintage car themed restaurant in 1999.
Armed with a laid back entrance, the only giveaway to the restaurant theme would be the steering wheel door handle. One would never expect to see a slice of cream colored beetle complete with wheels as the main counter that greets every guest coming through the restaurant doors, for a start that is.
Be amazed by real vintage parking meters, old school posters, car plates and almost everything vintage! Several other vintage hatchback, limousine sized cars in a myriad of Tiffany green, pastel pink and blue, colors that looked like they came out of the 1970s and prior were also carefully recycled into booth seats with parts of them being tastefully removed to adorn the entire restaurant creating a unique experience for all visitors.
With all things vintage, stepping into P.S Bu Bu restaurant is literally a walk into the kind of 1960s restaurants which is usually seen only in English movies. Do step into this amazing time machine today.
