Hongmaogang Cultural Park 紅毛港文化園區 is a multipurpose venue located at the entrance of Kao Hsiung 2nd harbour in Siaogang district, Kao Hsiung city, Taiwan.
While this area used to be a lively bustling Hong Mao Gang village, it was relocated to make way for development of Port of Kao Hsiung Intercontinental container terminal. In commemoration of the community spirit, cultural and history of its previous occupants of Hong Mao Gang village, part of the area was torn down while the other areas remained as exhibits.
There are several areas of attraction including the Gaozi tower revolving restaurant, exhibition hall, outdoor exhibition area, Sky walk, Pier, waiting room and Ocean front platform.
Visitors can get to experience the living quarters and history of Hong Mao Gang villagers at the outdoor exhibition area, take a leisurely stroll along the skywall while taking in the picturesque ocean view or Sven choose to go upmarket and dine in comfort while enjoying a 360 degrees panaromic view of the entire habour.
Truly an experience befitting for a king.
