Nanliao Fishing Port 新竹南寮舊漁港 in the North district, Hsinchu of Taiwan was built in the 1980s and used to be a source of convenience for local fishermen which was subsequently reconstructed by a newer harbour which is more tourism centric. Simple structures and landscapes are built using Mediterranean themed blue and white colors created for a romantic atmosphere. While Nanliao fishing port used to be a nondescript fishing port which only fishermen would frequent, currently it is a popular tourist destination filled with local bites such as vegetable peanut spring rolls, pork mushroom buns, oyster omelettes and many other delish food. For a even better experience, catch the sunset against the gorgeous Mediterranean landscape that is oh so instagram worthy.
