Hsinchu City gained much popularity after Taiwan first science park opened its doors in 1980s to upgrade the technology of industries for greater economic growth.

Visit the East gate which is a remnant of the old city gate, cheng huang and chang he temples to admire the gorgeous intricacies of such architecture, traditional opera shows and to worship, visit the green grass lake, shibajian mountains, 17km coastline scenic areas to soothe the nerves and be sure to check out the hsinchu zoo or glass museum for some educational information.
