As its name suggest, the C-119 Military Aircraft Park holds the retired C119 Military Transport plane, also nicknamed “Flying Boxcar”. It is an American military transport aircraft developed in World War II, designed for the purpose of carrying cargo, personnel, litter patients, and mechanized equipment, and to drop cargo and troops by parachute. This aircraft was provided by the United States to Taiwan as part of the Military Assistance Program. Retired on 19 December 1997, the Flying Boxcar is now the main attraction of the aircraft park in Changhua.
